The Eitzen Farm is in the Good Harbor region of the Park. Historically, the family once ran a small horseback riding business on their 80 acres.

The remnant of the farm’s horse fence at the entry of the farm was falling down, or on the ground. Lining the entrance of the driveway, what was left of the fence gave the impression that no one was looking after the farm. PHSB volunteers restored a happier face on the farm with a new fence. Next, the perennial garden in the front will soon be restored. There’s much more work to be done on this farm in future years.
