COURSE OVERVIEW:

Students will learn the basics of primitive rug hooking including tools and techniques while completing a small decorative mat. All materials will be included in the supply fee and the tools will be yours to keep!

INSTRUCTOR BIO:

Kathleen comes from a long line of makers- quilters, cross stitchers, seamstresses-but she is the first rug hooker. She is self taught, but has taken classes from many nationally known rug hookers. She has been rug hooking for 30+ years and loves it as much today as when she started!

 

REQUIRED TOOLS:

  • Required tools/materials are provided by your instructor and Folk and Field School and will be available for purchase once the course begins
  • Students will have to bring a pair of scissors
