Learn about the families of North Manitou Island families and let her historic photographs bring alive the stories of indigenous peoples, fur traders, lumbermen, farmers, and summer resorters who shaped North Manitou Island.
2026 winner of the Notable Book Award by the Library of Michigan. Books are available at the Port Oneida Heritage Center and the Cottage Book Shop.
