Located at Inspiration Point overlooking Big Glen Lake, this cabin is a jewel in the National Park. Work is underway on this multi-year project. In the past we have installed a french drain, pruned large trees impacting the roof, tested the structural integrity of the interior beams and last year, funded a masonry contractor to do tuck point repair on chimneys that were pulling away from the sides of the building.  This year, volunteers will restore and refinish exterior doors and hardware, put a new roof on the garage pending park approval, and begin the long restoration of over 55 windows on the log house.
