Help preserve Sleeping Bear’s natural and cultural treasures. Preserve Historic Sleeping Bear is a 501 (c)(3) organization that partners with the park to preserve, maintain, and interpret the historic structures and landscapes of Sleeping Bear Dunes to ensure that this coastal heritage will endure forever and be accessible to the public. Charitable Contribution (QCD)

A qualified charitable contribution (QCD) is a direct, tax-free donation from an IRA to a qualified charity for individuals aged 70½ or older. This strategy allows you to satisfy your required minimum distribution (RMD) and reduce your taxable income, as the money is not included in your adjusted gross income. A maximum of $108,000 can be contributed per individual annually.
