Step inside five of the six log cabins in the Park on Michigan Log Cabin Day!

Preserve Historic Sleeping Bear has repaired most of these historic structures over the years and we want to share these amazing structures and their stories with you.

Interpreters and/or storyboards will be at each of the log cabins. Some demonstrations of traditional building will take place. Allow enough time to get from the north end to the south end of the park.

Pick up your Log Cabin Day card at any of the sites and start exploring! Get your card stamped at 4 of the 5 sites to receive your free 50th Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore sticker. Get your card stamped at all 5 sites and  you will be entered into  a drawing of other prizes including Maple Syrup.
