Ole Oleson GranaryDate: Friday - Saturday, July 10-11, 2009 Time: 9 am – 4 pm Join us for our potluck on Saturday at 6 pm!Project Description: Come out and help us complete the granary which we began restoring last summer. We will be completing the project by putting siding on the structure this weekend. For further project details, check out our project blog Funders/Partners: Preserve Historic Sleeping Bear; Volunteers Needed: 4 skilled carpenters; 2 general volunteers. Supervisor: Len Allgaier, volunteer Supplies/Equipment Needed: Directions: This will be one of multiple projects going on this day. Everyone will meet at the Charles Olsen house at 9 am on M-22 just west of Port Oneida road, 3 miles north of Glen Arbor. The house is clearly marked and also has our Preserve Historic Sleeping Bear sign. If you come later in the day, you can go to the Ole Oleson site. M-22 to Basch road just east of Port Oneida Road. Turn right at the T which dead ends into the driveway. What to Bring: Must wear long pants and hard soled shoes; Bring your lunch. We provide gloves and some tools.
